Cute book. Interesting story line, I had no idea the women built spitfires and even flew them in the war. Uncomplicated and warm story set in the lead up to Christmas. Lovely characters. Not earth shattering but a nice read in the festive season.......more

I have yet to find a Daisy Styles book I do not love and find hard to put down. Her attention to detail for the period is brilliant. I find I learn more about the differing roles men and women took during WWII and it makes me want to research them more. Another fabulous read.......more
