Cat and the Invisible Picture (A Bugville Critters Story)
A Creative Adventure in Choosing Describing Words

During a classroom game of Listen and Draw, Cat Caterpillar can see the hidden picture perfectly—but her friends can only hear the few words she chooses. Their wildly different drawings show Cat that nouns can name the objects, while carefully selected adjectives help everyone imagine their size, color, shape, texture, number, and feeling. When Cat tries again with far too many details, she discovers that clear communication also requires order, listening, and knowing which clues matter most. Cat and the Invisible Picture is a playful introduction to adjectives that encourages young listeners to notice closely, ask helpful questions, and use language to carry an image from one imagination into another.
