Beguiling, languid, and fiercely affectionate, Carmilla quickly becomes Laura's dearest companion. But this beautiful stranger hides a terrifying secret. As Laura is plagued by nightmarish visions of monstrous beasts and unexplained illnesses sweep through the nearby villages, she finds herself caught in an agonizing dance of attraction and repulsion. What is the truth behind the enigmatic Countess Karnstein? Time is running out as an unseen, suffocating evil tightens its grip on Laura's very soul.
