Synopsis

With the conclusion of the tenvolume saga, the multiple strands of the story are woven toward their resolution. Members of the Brannon family are involved in battles across the country, from the Deep South to the Dakota Territory. In the spring of 1865 the war reaches its climax at a crossroads in Virginia known as Appomattox. Subsequently, the war in brought home to the Brannon farm when carpetbaggers move into the South and they must decide whether to fight or flee.

Read the whole series and as much as I enjoyed it there were some egregious anti-historical content that was upsetting. Not just stretching the truth. Not just softening the truth. Rather completely contrary to truth. It bothers me greatly that there are people who will accept the content as truth.......more
