Excellent! Pete Seeger is a national treasure. His songwriting (e.g., Where Have All the Flowers Gone?) and storytelling are unparalleled. This is a short, 2-CD, "book", with him singing and telling stories. Wonderful to hear how he grew up in a musical family, and his life in New York on the Hudson.......more

This is packaged as a book on CD but it is definitely not typical. It draws from cultural traditions of narrative with music. It was certainly a unique experience and very well done. It felt intimate and off-the-cuff with Pete Seeger telling personal stories and sharing his love for the Hudson River......more
