AudiobooksNow redesigns Android app for their digital audiobook download service from the ground up with new looks and features.
Vienna, VA (PRNewswire) January 29, 2015 - AudiobooksNow has recently redesigned their Android app from the ground up. This is the first major redesign since the company launched their Android app 3 years ago. The new app version boast a fresh new look, streamlined user interface, and lots of new features.
"This is an exciting new app for us and it's much more than just an update, it's a complete new redesign" said Bryan Stafford, President and COO of AudiobooksNow. "It's faster, more efficient, more user friendly, and more compatible with today's devices" said Stafford. AudiobooksNow started their digital audiobook service with the launch of their Android app in January 2012. They are marking the 3 year anniversary of their Android app with this complete new redesign.
"It is challenging to keep up with all the new Android devices that hit the market each year. This new Android app will allow us to make updates more rapidly and it even adds support for all the various sizes of tablets. With so many shapes and sizes of devices, it is important that our app works and looks good on all of them for the best user experience." Stafford said.
AudiobooksNow's new Android app was developed in native Android so it is more stable and responsive than their previous app. In addition to the new user interface, the app adds new features like auto suggest, advanced sort and filtering options, tablet support, and an enhanced player for samples and audiobook playback. The new app will allow AudiobooksNow to promptly roll out new updates which are critical for keeping the app running smooth and responding to customer feedback.
AudiobooksNow plans to continue the expansion of its selection while implementing major updates to its service this year. "This will be an exciting year for AudiobooksNow, we will be launching new apps, features, and website enhancements in 2015, in addition to backend upgrades to handle our rapid growth." said Stafford.
