AudiobooksNow Adds Macmillan Audio Titles to its Digital Audiobook Download and Streaming Service

With the addition of Macmillan's selection of popular titles, AudiobooksNow offer more than 18,000 premium audiobooks.

Vienna, VA (PRNewswire) August 12, 2013 - AudiobooksNow has added over 1,100 Macmillan Audio titles to its digital audiobook download and streaming service. Macmillan Audio publishes a broad range of quality works, including award-winning fiction, nonfiction, and much-loved children's books.

Macmillan Audio, formally Audio Renaissance, was founded in 1987 and records fiction and nonfiction available for both adults and children. Macmillan's line of products also includes the popular language-learning series Behind the Wheel. Macmillan Audio productions have been nominated for three Grammy Awards and have won numerous Audie Awards and Earphones Awards.

Macmillan Audio narrators include Meryl Streep, Lorelei King, Stanley Tucci, Simon Vance, Gwyneth Paltrow, Katherine Kellgren, Holter Graham, and Cynthia Nixon, as well as President Jimmy Carter, Rob Lowe, and Bill O'Reilly, who have read their own audiobooks. Some of the Macmillan's popular authors include Janet Evanovich, Robert Jordan, Douglas Preston, Lisa Scottoline, Michael Palmer, Bill O'Reilly, Richard North Patterson, and P. C. Cast.

All Macmillan's digital audiobooks are DRM-free which means consumers can download and transfer their purchases to multiple compatible devices for personal use. DRM stands for (Digital Rights Management) which controls how digital content is handled. More and more audiobook publishers have been offering their content DRM-free in recent years.
