This was an interesting book. The premise behind Nikki’s job was unusual and the exotic locale was definitely entertaining. There were a few times where I was taken out of the story by the main character doing something that seemed immature or incomprehensible but overall I found the story kept draw......more

I liked "Waking Up in Medlin," as it was quite different with the setting in South America. I found the author's background perfect for supporting the setting. The book marched right along, keeping me hooked page after page. Her descriptions allowed the reader to see the surroundings. The love story......more
