Douglass Wallop (1920–1985) was a journalist and novelist, and a Washington Senators fan. He won a Tony Award in 1956 for Damn Yankees.
Steve Hendrickson has been a professional actor for over thirty years. A graduate of Yale School of Drama, he has appeared in theaters across the country. His audio projects include Archibald Finch and the Lost Witches and The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant, among others.
This is the book the Damn Yankee's play was based off of. My brother was in this play way back in the early 80's (I think) It was the first BIG play I went to and it made me fall in love with the theater. This book was a great reminder of that!......more
