The Food Diaries

Eating when you're hungry ... how simple is that? Not so simple for Josie and the friends she met when she took herself off to One Step, the local Overeaters Anonymous Group. She heard about Rachel's extended family, who thought meeting meant eating. She met Christopher who could only stomach one coloured food at a time. There was Olga who used food as an anchor to her past and Dave who was the family's living compost bin. Then there was Tiffany and Monica and finally Perry whose wife had two-timed his stomach as well as his heart. Josie liked to think of her food diaries as one woman's Battle of the Bulge but really it all their stories, she reflected, as she sat down to write that last entry.
