I have loved Katherine Paterson's books since I was a child. Her author bio blurb led me to attend a college I never would have heard of otherwise. The stories of her life she shared in this book were so interesting and when I closed the book I felt like I had actually spent time with her.......more

Before reading this book, I had never heard of Katherine Paterson or any of her books. She has written over 40 and has won many prestigious awards, including the Newberry medal three times.
