I loved how fast paced and to the point this one was. I was looking for something fun that didn't drag on and this hit the nail on the head.. Seems to me that this is going to be an entertaining series as we find out about the MFC being a Celestial. Would recommend to anyone looking for an adventure w......more

The invasion conflict was resolved in less than 10 pages While I did like the character development with the main character and the different warlords. The world and other conflicts were barely a footnote. We didn’t really get to see too much of the world she is supposed to rule. She made no decision......more

The pacing was off… The events of the storyline are too quickly paced to the point that they took away the chance of character & plot development. From the first page there’s a fight/challenge with the fmc, then she is almost immediately thrown off a cliff, then she’s saved, then her past is revealed......more

It's actually a novel concept for an author to jump right into the story and not give you chapters and chapters of prologue and backstory. Maybe there was a book before this one (?) but it didn't matter.......more

The whole story had great potential, but the world building was almost non existent, the plot was rushed, and overall the whole story (all 3 books) could have easily been drawn out with more both in......more
