Meh. The lead character is pretty annoying. Nice one minute, and snarky in the next. She was brought up by her aunt, but seems to have learned no skills to live an independent life. She married a mobster? That story was barely touched on. I skipped quite a bit just to find out who did it!......more

Not a bad start to a new series by a new-to-me author, but not a great one for me, either. There were more irritating characters than folks I liked, with the MC being off-the-chart annoying for me.
