One of my all-time favorite books of meditations on Scripture. Gire has a gift for placing you in the scene. It's almost Ignatian. I'd swear he was a Jesuit (or at least Jesuit influenced) if I didn't know he was a Protestant author. Great book.......more

This book has become my favorite devotional book of all time. Finishing it made me want to start right back at the beginning again. I love Ken Gire's writing, and his insights into the life of Jesus really ministered to me. I would give this book 6 stars if I could.......more
