Synopsis

Humor and romance mix delightfully in Katie MacAlister's New York Times best-selling novels. In this installment of the Dark Ones series, Pia is discovering that wedded bliss with a vampire is a very elusive proposition. With her hubby not trusting her, and his best friend missing, Pia finds solace in her plain old Seattle life. But that all changes when she and Kristoff are falsely implicated in crimes against vampire-kind.

I started reading at page 1, and seemed to be in the middle of an ongoing story. Since I have no clue about any of these characters or their backstory in Iceland, I quit before reaching chapter 2. The repetition is a little more annoying now and the humor is less humorous. I just think there should be an instance......more

I was really really irritated with that book because the previous 5 books in the series were pretty much stand-alone stories told in the same world (same vamp mythology, etc). Seems like her pub......more

Brotherhood of the light; Moravian Councill Ilagi; Necromancers? Glad it got sorted in the end but it took a long & winding ro......more
