Each book in the series gets just that little bit better This one gets 5.5. Stars IMO for whatever that is worth. This one sets the stage for Jia & Eric to the next major phase of their story keeping one hanging for the next book which is a whole MONTH away. Oh Well, I’ll just have to go find another......more

This is a guilty pleasure read. Imagine all the 80's action tropes of buddy cop movies. It took 5 books for them to realize they like each other and need to go beyond cops to get the bigger baddies.......more
