Synopsis

Equality 7-2521 is a young man who yearns to understand the Science of Things, but he lives in a bleak, dystopian future where independent thought is a crime and where science and technology have regressed to primitive levels. A dystopian novella set in the world where totalitarian collectivism has triumphed to the greatest extent. I did see Rand's potential as a writer, but in this book, her ideas are underdeveloped, and far too simplistic for my taste, and for her to be considered a philosopher, at least at this stage.......more
