About Rebecca Soler

Rebecca Soler is a film and voiceover actress who won a 2009 AudioFile Earphones Award for her narration of After by Amy Efaw. Her audiobook credits include work by authors such as Judy Blume, James Patterson and Sarah Dessen. Soler has also narrated the popular young adult series The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. A very disappointing end to what started off as a great series. It definitely felt as if Meyer were just going through the motions to finish the book contract. The writing was repetitive, formulaic, with no surprises or spark. While I thought Meyer meant to emphasize that its the beauty within that matters, revealing Levanas deformity as a way to alien her from the people seemed superficial shes deformed, so now we know shes evil!, while Winters physical beauty but mental instability was proof she was a true heroine. To me, Winter seemed whiny and high maintenance, not something to aspire to. This book paled in comparison to the previous books in the series.
