Synopsis

Retired RAF pilot Ron Powell has written a Battle of Britain novel, Wings Over Summer, a sequel, Wings Over Malta, an illustrated history of the Battle of Britain, Hitler's First Bloody Nose, and two volumes of a memoir, Shropshire Blue: A Shropshire Lad in the RAF: Volume 1, Preparation For Flight and Volume 2, On The Buffet. He has also written numerous short stories and articles, many published and some prize-winning, and gives talks on a range of topics, including the Battle of Britain.
