I have finally finished this book. It’s 510 pages and takes a while to read. ( I see the latest edition runs to 800 pages, must be much bigger print!) The author’s style is not really to my taste, far too much attention to fine detail. People don’t just undress, there is a list of every item removed......more

This is the second in Catrin Collier's Long Road to Baghdad series. You do need to have read the first book as the story continues straight on without much in the way of a recap (which admittedly I struggled without as it's been a while since I read the first).......more
