This story was really interesting and I learned about some people, who I had heard of before, but did not know their complete connection to the civil rights movement. The first time I ever heard of Rosa Parks was (don't laugh!) in the 2018 Doctor Who episode Rosa. This excellent book on her life, although written for children, is highly informative. There are also plenty of good illustrations. A great book about a great woman.......more
