When the Wind Lies

Lawson’s life has fallen apart.

With his marriage ending and his career in tatters, he retreats to the place where he once felt free. His family’s lake house in rural Alabama had always been a sanctuary.

Quiet. Familiar. Uncomplicated.

But he will soon find that lakes remember.

What begins as a needed escape quickly turns into something far more unsettling. The water haunts his dreams. The nights are never quiet. And the past Lawson tried to outrun begins to reveal itself.

Because some places don’t let go.

And down here, promises once made are never forgotten.
