This book held high promise with the story about a young girl at a lemonade stand, a careening truck, and a chance meeting of strangers. For me, the pace was too slow. There is an interesting story in this book somewhere, but it is buried with the author’s frequent excursions into other topics. Most of these topics are dropped and never dealt with again.
