Wandering adventurer Rose embarks on a quest to rescue her family from an evil troll queen who has hatched a sinister plan for revenge in this sequel to the beloved high fantasy East.

When Rose first met Charles, he was trapped in the form of a white bear and the Troll Queen's prisoner.
