Excellent book that covered the history of warfare in two ways: one by campaigns and wars and also in a strict chronological order. WOW! If I was a kid, this would have been the book for me. Illustrations are grand. It's written in bite size chunks. Great for the pre-layperson. The old me thinks the young me would have loved this. I would buy this for a 10 year old nephew learning to read, building his comprehension skills.......more
