Synopsis

One sister is at a crossroad...Linda Guy Smith is a stay-at-home mom with a mini-van full of problems: her ex-cop husband’s P.I. agency is faltering, the never-ending renovations on their fixer-upper house are causing chaos for her two kids, and debt is towering over her. What happened to the fulfilling life she was supposed to have? One sister is on Easy Street...Octavia Guy Habersham has the successful life she designed for herself—a rich attorney husband, a palatial home complete with domestic staff, and her name on the social register. What could possibly go wrong?Until both women hit a dead end.Without warning the estranged sisters find themselves husbandless and broke. They reluctantly agree to combine their talents and use the detective agency to solve one final mystery before they go their separate ways. The women get off to a shaky start--their work styles and lifestyles are like oil and water, and every turn in the case seems to resurrect old family quarrels. But ultimately the Guy sisters have a revelation: Who better to deal with clients who have shocking secrets than two women who harbor so many secrets of their own?

I can totally envision this as a tv show & I think the writer skewed her......more
