About Napoleon Hill

Born into poverty in southwest Virginia in 1883, Oliver Napoleon Hill was encouraged to write by his stepmother and soon discovered a talent for it. He began working as a “mountain reporter” for small-town newspapers and went on to become America’s most beloved motivational author. His classic book Think and Grow Rich had sold twenty million copies by the time of Hill’s death in 1970 and remains a cornerstone of the modern self-actualization movement. Before passing, Hill established the Napoleon Hill Foundation as a nonprofit educational institution whose mission is to perpetuate his philosophy of leadership, self-motivation, and individual achievement.Jeffrey Gitomer is the New York Times bestselling author of thirteen books on sales, attitude, and personal development, including The Sales Bible, The Little Gold Book of Yes! Attitude, 21.5 Unbreakable Laws of Selling, and the award-winning The Little Red Book of Selling, which has sold more than five million copies worldwide and was featured as an essential work in The 100 Best Business Books of All Time. In 2006, four of Gitomer’s titles appeared simultaneously on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list, a first in the history of the paper. Hill can clearly be seen as an old master – one worth reading. He wrote many other books during his lifetime......more
