The Telstar Enigma

For nearly a century, the Telstar satellite circled Earth — a relic of the Space Age and a silent witness to Intervention. When orbital miner Emrys Edwards tries to retrieve it, Telstar erupts in impossible energy and vanishes, sparking an investigation far beyond Earth’s orbit. In 1977, children at Broad Haven Primary School witness a UFO beside their playground. Eighty‑five years later, another class shares the same dream — and draws the same impossible image: the twisting form of the Telstar impostor. As Emrys Hughes returns from orbit, he uncovers a pattern stretching from the Valley Civilisation to the Martian warning, from the Zanclean Flood to today — a cosmic message the children grasp before officials do. The Sentinels have returned, and the Telstar Incident is only the beginning. This edition unites Telstar and Children of Telstar into one atmospheric sci‑fi novella blending real history, Welsh folklore, cosmic mystery and near‑future tension.
