Love lost and found. Love this series and the fact that after each 'human' chapter we get a bit of Fairmont's thoughts. The only criticism I have was that it was only 81% of the page count. This series really caught me and Fairmont Finds a Poet, the second book in the series by Cate Lawley is as good as the first. I love this series, and the narrator does a good job in the audio versions. We recently lost one of our senior dogs, and hearing the dogs perspective about how he views his owner and how much he loves her makes me not as sad.......more

One of the things I love best about this series is the brief vignettes from Fairmont's point of view. I'm not big on talking animals in books, but hearing from Fairmont now and then about how things are going is fun. The "overs" at the end of the book are especially entertaining.......more
