About Sarah Edmondson

Sarah Edmondson is a Vancouver-born actress, voice artist, author, and activist known for her wide-ranging career and advocacy work. She began acting on the CBC series Edgemont and went on to appear in numerous television shows, including Stargate SG-1, Continuum, Fringe, and Psych, as well as Hallmark films and independent projects. She has also built an extensive voice acting portfolio with roles in series like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Dinotrux. Beyond entertainment, Edmondson became widely known for her involvement in and eventual escape from NXIVM, a controversial self-help organization she was part of for over a decade. Her experience led to her 2019 memoir Scarred, participation in major documentaries and podcasts about NXIVM, and ongoing advocacy work supporting cult survivors. Now based in Atlanta, she co-hosts the podcast A Little Bit Culty with her husband and speaks publicly about manipulation, recovery, and resilience.
