Synopsis

Did you know that the Renaissance is thought of as the gateway to the modern world? The Renaissance was only a short period in European history, but it was the revolution needed to move from the Middle Ages to the modern world. In this new and captivating history audiobook, you’ll learn what made the Renaissance so special and how it still influences us today. Here are some of the questions you will find answers to within this audiobook:Why did humanism power the Renaissance?Did Machiavelli really believe what he wrote in The Prince? How did the Black Death help start the Renaissance?Who built the dome on the Florence Cathedral? Why did artists fight for patrons? How did Michelangelo paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?Scroll up and click the “add to cart” button to learn more about the history of the Renaissance!
