Vincent Bugliosi received his law degree in 1964. In his career at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, he successfully prosecuted 105 out of 106 felony jury trials, including 21 murder convictions without a single loss. His most famous trial, the Charles Manson case, became the basis for his bestselling true-crime classic Helter Skelter. Two of Bugliosi’s other true-crime books also reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list—no other American true-crime writer has ever had more than one book that achieved this ranking. Bugliosi lives with his wife in Los Angeles.
Marc Cashman, Earphones Award–winning narrator, was named one of the “Best Voices of the Year” by AudioFile magazine. His voice can be heard on radio, television, film, and video games. He also instructs voice actors through his classes, The Cashman Cache of Voice-Acting Techniques, in Los Angeles.

I listened to the audiobook. At the beginning, I was worried that this would be a political slamming of the ex-President, but it is actually a true account of the preamble to the war in Iraq, and how it was based on lies. This interested me, as the UK was involved, and ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair w......more
This is an interesting book, but ultimately diappointing. It contains no real surprises, in terms of the lies and rush to war, but it's useful to have all of that documented in one place. Bugliosi's hatred for Bush is visceral and his arguments that Bush is amazingly lazy, with no love for his count......more
