Wireless operator Jack Ready and friend Billy Raynor face the North Atlantic aboard the freighter Cambodian. Tracking iceberg reports, they realize their drunken Captain Briggs is steering them into peril. When a collision sends Billy into the freezing sea, Jack must display immense courage. Using his radio skills, he battles the elements to rescue his friend and save the ship from disaster amidst the thick fog and frozen giants of the deep.
