Synopsis

This book was a long journey from conception to release. The process of living life and trusting God would fulfill His promises made to Patti and me is the center of this book. You can trust God no matter what and that is what we learned. There is a reason God doesn't tell us everything when we start a journey. If He would have told us what we would go through I would have never answered the call. But God is interested in each of us personally. He wants a deeper relationship with us. This journey definitely accomplished that in us.The writing was actually pretty easy. I worked as a professional journalist in southeast Idaho in the 1970s and 80s before going home to run the family business. In this case the only difficult thing was concealing identities of folks that were germane to the story. There is some personal stuff in there. Names and places and some circumstances were changed. That causes me some angst because some details were not pretty. We are all broken people who need Jesus. Not everything God promised to us has been fulfilled at this point, but we trust He will deliver what He said. we serve an awesome God, one who took me from being a cradle Catholic practicing religion to a man who now has a personal relationship with Jesus and knows the difference. That was the topic of my first book, "The Shift", available now only in e-book. As you read, you’ll consider questions such as: • How do we know what God requires of us? • How can we glorify God each day? • How can we share God’s word with others? To move forward with the Lord, you must be prepared to embark on a journey of trust and obedience. You must persevere even during tough times. Join us as we shares how we learned to trust God and what this journey has taught about grace, forgiveness, restoration and faith.
