Synopsis

When the EMP strikes, how far will you go to protect the ones you love?

A month has passed since a devastating EMP ravaged the nation's power supplies.

Jack and his family are surviving on a sustainable farm in the middle of the countryside. Reunited with people he never thought he'd see again, Jack is determined to do all he can not to lose them once more.

Logan and Emma are seeking shelter of their own. When they discover an idyllic farm in a perfect location, Logan is determined to make it their home—at any cost.

But when a tense standoff spirals into tragedy, the two groups are locked into a ruthless conflict that threatens to tear them both apart. Just how far will both Jack and Logan go to protect those closest to them? And at what cost?

If you can leave a series unfinished I recommend you only read the first two books. Book 3 ruins everything. Spoilers I was skeptical of all the gratuitous violence. All the constant horrific things that kept happening. It was too much. More than could be believable. But book 2 ends on a reasonable en......more

Some of our characters have taken a departure from their previous personalities. It was interesting to see how society begins to crumble so quickly. One of the things tha......more
