Synopsis

The Idiot (Part 03 and 04) as you haven't seen it before -- in a remarkable illustrated edition.A brilliant but broken man returns to Russia—and into a whirlwind of passion, betrayal, and madness.Prince Lev Nikolaevich Myshkin arrives in St. Petersburg after years in Switzerland, where he was treated for epilepsy and a fragile mind. He is a man unlike any other—a soul untouched by deceit, a heart untainted by ambition. But in the fevered social circles of 19th-century Russia, innocence is a dangerous thing.Drawn into a tangled web of love and obsession, Myshkin finds himself caught between two women: the fiery, enigmatic Nastasia Filipovna, whose beauty and suffering haunt him, and the proud yet vulnerable Aglaya Epanchin, who sees in him both fascination and folly. Meanwhile, the dark and brooding Parfyon Rogozhin watches from the shadows, a man driven to madness by desire—and willing to kill for it.As the prince struggles to navigate the treacherous world of power, wealth, and scandal, his ideals are tested against the brutal realities of human nature. Will his purity shine through, or will he be swallowed by the chaos around him?A masterpiece of psychological depth and raw emotion, The Idiot explores the thin line between brilliance and madness, love and destruction. Dostoyevsky’s unforgettable tale invites readers into a world where the most dangerous thing of all... is innocence.
