I think I can understand all the positive reviews. The story was good. It was gripping and engaging. But I really had issues with some aspects. It was written in 2006. I LOVED the first half of this book. I found the setup fascinating, the characters intriguing. I really wanted to know how the situation had come about, and I had a hard time putting the book down.
