About Kevin Brockmeier

Kevin Brockmeier is the author of five novels for adults and two children's novels. His stories have appeared in The New Yorker, Tin House, McSweeney's, The Oxford American, The Best American Short Stories, O. Henry Prize Stories and Granta's Best of Young American Novelists, among other publications. He has taught at the Iowa Writer's Workshop.

Ghost stories! The title does not mislead. Very well written. I am just not into ghost stories. If you are, you will love this book. The stories are very imaginative and original. The rating, as always, is about my personal experience with the book.......more

Beware, these ghost stories are REALLY short ! I dove in this book expecting spooky reads, chills going down my spine and so on ! In fact, it was a bit cleverer than that.
