The Forty Tiffins
A Lahore Family Mystery

When Mehr flies home to Lahore for her grandmother's funeral, she expects grief. She doesn't expect the doorbell to ring on the third day, or the steel tiffin carrier waiting outside, tied with a faded red cloth.
Inside is her grandmother's famous Thursday daal, still warm. And a note, in a handwriting that should have been buried with her.
Forty days. Forty tiffins. Forty notes, each one a stepping stone toward a truth the Chaudhry family has spent four decades burying: an empty grave, a gate shut in the monsoon rain, and a daughter everyone was told had died.
The Forty Tiffins is a South Asian family drama wrapped around a slow-burning mystery. It is a story about food, silence, honor, and the unforgivable things we learn to live beside. It is also about the quiet courage it takes to finally say a name out loud.
Written and narrated by Saeed Ahmed Khan.
