The Dragon Tamer Quartet
Awakening

Elaine’s life is at a crossroads. Turning thirty brings unexpected changes, not just in her career as a paleontologist, but within herself. Vivid dreams of dragons begin to blur the line between fantasy and reality, hinting at a power she’s long kept hidden. When she and her best friends, Liam and Melissa, uncover what appears to be a dinosaur fossil and an intact egg, their scientific world is turned upside down. The truth emerges when the egg hatches before their eyes, revealing not a prehistoric creature, but a dragon.

Set in modern-day America, this contemporary fantasy brings magic to the everyday world, where the hero isn’t a sword-wielding warrior but a self-proclaimed nerd who loves what she loves unapologetically. At its core, The Dragon Tamer Quartet is a story about embracing who you truly are, no matter what others expect. Through Elaine’s journey, readers are reminded that courage, authenticity, and self-acceptance are the most powerful forms of magic.
