Synopsis

Dog sitter Gwinny Tuffel is staying on an ageing rock singer's houseboat in London's Little Venice, looking after his border collie while he goes on tour. But during the annual Canal Carnival, the singer's body is discovered, having never made it out of London. The police dismiss it as an accident, but Gwinny suspects murder most foul. I was very happy to catch up with Gwinny, her detective friend, Rufus and Ace (the canine part). Ok it’s true I read the first in the series just because there was a dog on the cover but yet again I really enjoyed this one. These books are perfect if you want a bit of cozy murder escapism — and I really hope there will be a third as this did not disappoint.......more
