Synopsis

Have you ever felt like there was something missing inside of you? I have. It turns out that missing piece is a big, furry, and bratty wolf.

As if navigating this newfound part of me wasn't strange enough, trying to communicate with a beast who is obsessed with a certain spot in the woods and the intoxicating scent a male shifter left behind is driving us both crazy.

I'm hoping to keep us going long enough to help my best friend Kera navigate her new role as Alpha of the Cerberus pack, but my wolf has other plans.

Once she discovers our fated mate, the morally gray and sexy as hell hunter for the Fenrir pack, I'm on a ticking time clock before the moon sickness takes over.

Add in the fact that there is some sort of blood debt on my head and hunters from the various packs are being sent to kill me, things went from normal to totally insane faster than I could imagine.

I just discovered my wolf. Now I need to find a way to keep us both alive.

Contains mature themes.

About Heather K Carson

Heather K. Carson is the mother of two feral little boys by day and published author by night. When she isn't working on a new book or refereeing a wrestling match, she's covered in mud from working in the garden or dancing around the kitchen and whipping up enough food to feed the monsters she created.

Under her "pen name" Heather Carson she's completed four finished series that don't have monsters of the supernatural kind. The Fated Destinies series is her introduction to the paranormal romance genre because she fell into a serious reading addiction and wanted to play with fictional beasts at least once in her publishing career.

She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest and spends whatever free time she gets by running away to the mountains with her equally exhausted husband.

yek …the female main character is insufferable. The author said in the first book they hate miscommunication but it is large and in charge for this book. Also, the author writes intimate scenes in such an awkward way. There is hardly any build up and the focus is so technical. It’s like the equivalen......more

In response to the review that states a manwhore is paired with an 18 year old *child* - for one thing, at 18, you aren't a kid anymore. For another, Skol isn't that much older, and grew up in a society where relations aren't viewed the way most of our society does (it's normal, discussed, and an op......more

Shifter romance, spice, loyalties, friendship, family, love, respect, and all of the elements needed to give the reader a very satisfying and entertaining experience! I read this in one day! I love Coral and Skoll There story was so chaotic and I never knew if they’d figure it out from one minute to the next. But Coral is kick ass and she takes matters into her own claws…teeth? Anyway, loved this one!......more
