Synopsis

Delightful This is the sixth book in Emily Organ's series about Penny Green, A London news reporter kindling her career as well as balancing her love for a man pledged to another. I pre-ordered this because I was invested in the characters and needed to know what happened next in their lives. There is a good balance between the main storyline of the poisoner, and the love interest. I had to keep reminding myself that this is set in the 19th century since emotions are so stilt......more

makes sense i am embarrassed by how much i enjoy the romantic aspects of these characters, but will also say it was a great mystery. the side piece with penny’s boss didn’t seem relevant. looking forward hearing more about francis’s trip. cannot decide if i think he will find penny’s dad alive or not......more
