Synopsis

Sage Tyler knows exactly the kind of man she wants— sophisticated, quiet, and, above all, controllable. Harlan Boyd, the egotistical drifter who works for her brothers, is none of these things. But Boyd is the first man Sage hasn't been able to wrap around her little finger. Then Sage's family business— the Tyler Drilling Company— is threatened, and Sage and Harlan find themselves fighting side by side to save it— in quarters too close to keep passion at bay. Can spoiled, headstrong Sage find love with a man who seems so easy to get and so hard to keep?

I found this book the least favorite of this trilogy. Too steamy for my taste. The only anticipated twist is anticlimactic and can be easily guessed. However, it's an enjoyable read and a happy ending to the Texas! trilogy.......more
