Synopsis

Grim Reaper Charley Davidson is back in the final installment of Darynda Jones’ New York Times bestselling paranormal series, Summoned to Thirteenth Grave.

Charley Davidson, Grim Reaper extraordinaire, is pissed. She’s been kicked off the earthly plane for eternity – which is the appropriate amount of time to make a person stark raving mad. But someone’s looking out for her, and she’s allowed to return after a mere hundred years in exile. Is it too much to hope for that not much has changed? Apparently it is. Bummer.

She’s missed her daughter, she’s missed Reyes, and Beep, but now that she’s back on earth, it’s time to put to rest burning questions that need answers. What happened to her mother? How did she really die? Who killed her? And are cupcakes or coffee the best medicine? It all comes to a head in an epic showdown between good and evil in this final smart and hilarious audiobook.

Praise for Lorelei King as Charley Davidson:

"A variety of different character voices makes King's narration lively and entertaining."—AudioFile Magazine on The Dirt on Ninth Grave

"King handles the many revelations and surprise cameos with aplomb. She doesn't skimp on Charley's trademark snarky humor, while still allowing a glimmer of her humanity to shine through. Overall, King provides a well-rounded heroine and a fully immersive listening experience."—AudioFile Magazine on Eighth Grave After Dark

About Darynda Jones

Even as a young child, NY Times and USA Today Bestselling Author Darynda Jones loved writing. She grew up spinning tales of dashing damsels and heroes in distress for any unfortunate soul who happened by. After graduating from school, she married her “rock star” and had two beautiful sons. Her oldest son was born deaf, so when he was 5 years old, she moved to Albuquerque to enroll him into a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program. She decided to go back to school while in Albuquerque and ended up graduating Summa cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Sign Language Interpreting. Darynda moved back to her home town and worked 3 jobs mostly teaching at a local college and interpreting pretty much everywhere. Little by little her desire to write kept growing inside her, so after several turned down attempts, she won numerous awards for her work, including a prestigious RITA, a Golden Heart, and a Daphne du Maurier. She currently has two series with St. Martin's Press, the Charley Davidson Series and the Darklight Trilogy. Darynda currently lives in New Mexico, with her husband of almost 30 years and two beautiful sons, the Mighty, Mighty Jones Boys.

Disappointed. Let me start with the positive. I love this series and it's characters and will recommend every time. Honestly I'm really disappointed. I had so much hope for this book to save the series but honestly it took even more turns that made the whole thing make less sense. This is a major bummer. I'll reread the series because I LOVE Reyes and Charley and Cookie and all the rest, but the last few books in......more

Can't believe it is over...or is it? Full review to come! *EDITED TO ADD REVIEW* It is so very hard to review perfection isn't it? I mean where do you even begin, and let's face it, this series has been pretty much that, from the very beginning. And while this has been such a bittersweet experience, it......more
