To tame her . . ."Victoria."Her name, just one word, but spoken with such possession she could almost feel the collar around her neck."It's in your nature," he murmured. "The desire to be taken."In this game of cat and mouse, everything is an illusion but the passion is as real as it gets . . .

Author Bio

Japanese American writer, Sylvia June Day was born on March 11, 1973. Day writes romance novels, speculative/paranormal fiction, historical fiction, and futuristic fiction (under the pseudonym Livia Dare.) S. J. Day is the pseudonym for her non-romance genre works.

Day is a #1 bestseller in 28 countries. She is the co-founder of “Passionate Ink”, a special interest chapter of Romance Writers of America, and served on the Board of Directors from 2009-2013 as well as became the 22nd President of the RWA. For the last three years, Day’s novels have taken spots among the top bestselling books on global year-end sales round ups, making her one the most widely read authors in the world today.

In addition to her novels, Day has written numerous novellas and short stories for both print and digital-first release. Her work has been called an “exhilarating adventure”, by Publishers Weekly and “wickedly entertaining”, by Booklist. She’s been honored with the RT Book Reviews Reviewer’s Choice award, the National Reader’s Choice Award, and multiple nominations for Romance Writers of America’s prestigious RITA Award of Excellence.

Born in Los Angeles, she grew up in Orange County and later lived in Monterey and Oceanside. Day now lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, but occasionally enjoys her pied-a`-terre on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York. She considers the two vibrant, energetic, and never-dark cities perfect for a writer whose working hours are as unpredictable as her characters.
