The author of nineteen novels, Paul Levine won the John D. MacDonald fiction award and was nominated for the Edgar, Macavity, International Thriller, Shamus, and James Thurber prizes. A former trial lawyer, he also wrote more than twenty episodes of the CBS military drama JAG and co-created the Supreme Court drama First Monday starring James Garner and Joe Mantegna. This is an okay book....too much "fluff" for me and predictable in many ways. On the plus side is there is quite a bit of good humor in the story. I had planned to read the series but don't feel it is worth my time now. Have too many really good books waiting to be read.......more

Entertaining duo who can’t seem to get along or stay apart. Their verbal jousting invigorates and exasperates the other but they are definitely a good team.
