I liked the premise of the book but I got so tired of everything being so down- one thing after another, the whole book is how much this woman gets dumped further and lower- for such a smart society woman I thought it unlikely she would be the victim portrayed. I kept waiting for her to rise -it wasn't funny or enjoyable to be with her on her journey, and not deep enough to feel much for her as she went.
I bought this in the Denver airport, which pretty much sums up its literary merit, but I have to admit I stayed up late that night to finish it. F-U-N! I was a little skeptical when I first rented this book....I had just needed something to listen to while I was on my runs this week and this was one of the first books that popped up!
