About JAC Patrissi

JAC Patrissi has more than twenty years of experience specializing in creative responses for survivors of abuse. She is the founder and former director of the Vermont Victim Assistance Academy. Patrissi consults nationally on system responses to domestic and sexual violence victims as well as victims of other violent crimes. She has trained several thousand professionals and community members on responding to domestic and sexual violence. Patrissi also facilitates the Growing a New Heart retreat series for women healing from destructive or sexually abusive relationships and writes regularly about relationship issues on her blog at growinganewheart.com. She is a survivor of domestic and sexual violence who lives happily with her family in New England.
