Synopsis

Sasha just got her dream job at a dig in the highlands of Scotland. Where her friends ply her with celebratory champagne, throw a plaid cloak over her business suit, and take her to the thirteenth century to do original research on the dig site. She meets gorgeous Highlander Seumas there, and—wait, is this a good idea?

About Jane Stain

Jane Stain started attending the renaissance pleasure faire at Paramount Ranch in 1973, when she was ten. She enjoyed trying to climb the twisty rope ladders and eating the huge turkey drumsticks. As teens, she and her friends came in costume, pretending to be The Three Musketeers or Dragon Riders of Pern.

Jane was twenty-five when she joined the crew of faire workers and discovered a whole new perspective on the faire. She shares the magic of this in her faire books, rather than the debauchery (mostly).

This book’s approach to time travel was rather unique. It put a new spin on archaeology and wove sections of the present into the past. I did like that the lead female was a strong woman yet neither the lairds wife. It is fun to read about what women actually did all day besides order around servant......more

Nice Quick Read What did I like? This is a good continuation of the storyline and a bit less trite than several other time travel series. Depending on your reading speed you could knock each of these out in an hour or two. This continues on with Kelsey’s colleague Sasha & Tavish’s good friend Seamus (......more

After thoroughly enjoying book #1 in this series, I immediately picked up book #2, Seamus to continue. As much as I like the first story, I liked this one even more. I always love a good time-travel story, and if Scottish Highlanders are involves, so much the better. While in book #1 there was more t......more
